The Glasgow Clan's new-look roster for 2021/22 has been strengthened with the signing of forward Jamie Crooks.

The 29-year-old will play in the Elite League for a team other than Guildford for the first time, having joined the Flames in 2018. In 100 league games in Surrey, Crooks scored 39 goals and totalled 31 assists, good for 70 points. Prior to turning professional, the Canadian spend five seasons playing at the University of Alberta, and scored 63 goals in 132 games.

"Jamie Crooks is a goalscorer, pure and simple," said Head Coach Malcolm Cameron. "He has a good hard shot, a good release and if he gets within 15-20 feet of the net, he’s going to bury it.

"He has a real good knack of finding space and has been successful in North America and has done well in the Elite League so we’re glad to have him on board."
