British forward Harry Ferguson is heading back to the Elite League with the Glasgow Clan.
The Scottish-born 22-year-old has already played over 120 games at EIHL level, starting back in 2016 with the Edinburgh Capitals where he spent two seasons. In 2018 he moved to the MK Lightning and played another 49 regular-season games, and stayed with the team when they moved down to the NIHL the following season, scoring 12 goals and notching 12 assists.
"For me, I couldn’t think of a better opportunity to come to Glasgow so when it was offered to me, I bit their arm off,' said Ferguson. "Coming here is the next step in my career after learning so much playing in Moray in the SNL then Edinburgh with the Capitals and more recently in Milton Keynes.
"I learned a lot when I was in the Elite League last time and I’m still learning and developing and I’ll do that under the new coach. I think he’ll teach me a lot in Glasgow and make me a better person and that was one of the reasons for coming.
"He explained to me he’s worked with young players before and that’s an encouraging thing for me so it certainly makes sense to me to make this move now."
Head Coach Malcolm Cameron added: "Harry is a bright young player that we’re excited to have in our lineup. He’s a guy with some tremendous upside and will improve daily with this group of players.
"We’re looking at him for getting into game action and someone who can be a big part of the Clan."
