27-year-old winger Jordan Boucher was unveiled as the Belfast Giants' latest signing for 2021/22 on Friday afternoon.
The Canadian spent four seasons in Clarkson University, suiting up more than 100 times in the NCAA and scoring 68 points. After a 22-point season in the AHL, the forward headed to Europe and spent two seasons with Örebro in the SHL, playing just shy of 100 games and scoring 33 points. He spent last season in the DEL with Wolfsburg, returning four goals and four assists over 25 games.
"Jordan brings a highly competitive level to the team and is an elite skater," said Head Coach Adam Keefe. "Fans will love watching him fly.
"With Jordan’s skating and experience in some of Europe’s top leagues, we think he will be a great addition to our forward group, and cause problems for opposing teams’ defencemen."
