Danny Stewart has added depth to his Coventry Blaze roster with the addition of two players on two-way deals.
Sam Russell (pictured) and Austin Mitchell-King were both drafted by the Blaze in the 2021 Elite Series, and have been added to Stewart's options for this season.
Both players will spend the majority of their playing time in the NIHL with their parent clubs, but will train regularly with the Elite League Blaze team and be available for selection when appropriate.
Although both players were initially Taxi Squad draft picks, Russell went on to play 13 games for the Blaze. Mitchell-King played in four, ad picked up an assist.
