Belfast routed Nottingham to record their second straight four point weekend.

Tyler Soy put the Giants ahead on the game's first powerplay when he was given too much space to walk in and wrist past Kevin Carr at 6:06. After a string of excellent saves from Carr, and the officials checking a Panthers attempt hadn't crossed the line, Kevin Raine pounced on a loose puck to put the Giants two up with 89 seconds left in the period.

Lewis Hook put the Giants three up 52 seconds into period two, scoring against the team he played for during the 2021 Elite Series, but Jeremy Welsh got the Panthers on the board at 25:12 to make a game of it.

Kevin Carr was forced to leave the game after a collision when Jordan Boucher cut in towards the net as the period draw on, leaving Will Kerlin to take over netminding duties for the Panthers. Scott Conway continued his excellent form this season with a powerplay goal at 36:20, however Matthew Lane pulled the Panthers back to within two again with 58 seconds left in the period.

Conway completed his hat trick with two further goals in the final period to complete a comfortable win fof the Giants and another four-point weekend.
