Stars pick up second win over Clan in a week

Dundee Stars picked up their second win in six days, and second over the Clan in succession, thanks to a 3-1 road win in Glasgow.

The Stars led after 20 minutes thanks to Hugo Reinhardt's goal at 9:49 on a scrappy play - when Clan failed to clear their zone, Chris Gerrie set up Reinhardt at the top of the circle to shoot through a screen. 

The 26-year-old Swede doubled the visitors' lead 2:20 into period two on the powerplay, finishing off a tic-tac-toe play with the feed from Fabrizio Ricci.

Elijah Barriga's third goal of the season put the Stars 3-0 ahead just 55 seconds into period three, although Nolan LaPorte got Clan on the board exactly two minutes later.
