Coventry Blaze completed their second perfect weekend of the season with a 4-1 home Premier Sports Challenge Cup win over Cardiff Devils.
It was the Devils that opened the scoring at the Skydome, Marcus Crawford netting inside four minutes with a shot that deflected in off David Clements.
Radek Veselý tied the game at 13:09 with a shot through traffic on the powerplay, and by 16 minutes exactly the home side were ahead when Peyton Frantti beat Benn Bowns short side on the rush.
Jack Billings scored the only goal of the middle period to put the Blaze 3-1 ahead, finishing off an excellent cross-ice pass from Nathanael Halbert at 33:51.
The win was sealed when Tanner Lishchynsky scored into an empty net with 20 seconds to play, condemning the Devils to their second defeat of the weekend.
