Conway hat trick helps Giants to road win

A hat trick from Great Britain international Scott Conway helped Belfast Giants continue their unbeaten start to the Premier Sports Challenge Cup with a 3-2 road win in Glasgow over the as yet winless Clan.
Clan took an early lead through Mathieu Roy inside six minutes who was credited with the final touch o a rebound from a Mitch Joe shot thaT Jackso Whistle could only parry.
Kevin Massy ran into trouble behind his own net and turned the puck over, allowing Mark Cooper to find Scott Conway in front for the equaliser at 11:01.
Conway put the visitors ahead 7:39 into period two, only for Steven McParland to tie the game at 29:34 with a nice cut in from the wing.
However, Conway was to complete his hat trick with 1:15 left in the period with what turned out to be the game-winner - neatly finishing another Cooper pass past Zach Driscoll.
