Giants thrash Stars in Dundee

"Unacceptable" was how Dundee Stars Head Coach Jeff Mason described his side's 7-1 home league defeat to Belfast Giants on Saturday night.

While the first period ended goalless, the Stars found themselves three down in a four-minute spell in period two that swung the game in the Giants' favour. Mark Cooper grabbed two either side of David Goodwin's goal to put the visitors in complete control, with Goodwin scoring the Giants' fourth after Philippe Sanche had got the hosts on the board.

Sam Ruopp, Scott Conway ad Gabe Bast added the third period goals to complete a dominating win for the Giants.
