Robert Dowd hit two, and Anthony DeLuca grabbed a pair for the Storm against his old team, as Sheffield ran out overtime winners over Manchester on Saturday night.

A tied opening period saw Martin Látal open the scoring at 11:52, only for Jesper Ohrvall's finish off Ryan Barrow's drop pass to tie things up 52 seconds later. Dowd put the Steelers back ahead at 24:41 with a top-shelf finish from Daniel Ciampini making it 3-1 at 26:02. Finlay Ulrick hit back for the Storm at 27:23 from the slot to make it a 2-3 game, but Sebastian Piché put the visitors back two ahead nine minutes later.

DeLuca brought the home side back to within one with 46 seconds left in the period, and at 49:45 he drew the Storm level with a close-range finish on a loose puck.

Dowd's second of the game came 1:57 into overtime to earn Sheffield the extra point, tapping in at the back post for the game's winning goal.
