Friday: Devils host Giants LIVE on Premier Sports

Cardiff Devils welcome Belfast Giants to Ice Arena Wales on Friday night for a game to be played live in front of the Premier Sports TV cameras.

This clash is the first competitive meeting between the teams, who also played a home game each against each other in exhibition matches, this season. The Devils beat the Giants in last season's Premier Sports Playoff Final.

The Devils' start to the season has generally depended on which competition they were playing in. In the league, Brodie Dupont's team have lost just one game and have a return of 10 points from six games played. In the cup, however, the Devils went 0&4 before hauling themselves back into contention in Group B with three wins.

Belfast won their cup group with a perfect 12 points from six games. Their league form has been good with three wins and a loss in four games so far.

Were the league table to be ranked on points percentage, the Devils would be joint top with Guildford on 83%, with the Giants next on 75%.
