Cardiff Devils began their Scottish road trip with a five-goal blanking of Glasgow at Braehead Arena, extending Clan's season record to 14 straight losses.
The visitors led by two after the first thanks to goals 57 seconds apart. Former Clan forward Ben Davies finished at the back post after good Devils passing to open the scoring at 7:11, with Cole Sanford doubling the lead at 8:08.
Cardiff hit another pair in period two to lead by four after 40 minutes. Jake Coughler converted into a half-empty cage from a Mark Richardson pass at 25:12 for 3-0, and just under ten minutes later Brodie Reid one-timed home on the powerplay to put the Welsh side in complete control.
Blake Thompson scored the lone goal of period three at 52:02 to round off the Devils' win where Taran Kozun logged a 19-shot shutout.
