Tonight: League action across Scotland

All three league games tonight in the Premier Sports Elite League take place in Scotland, with Dundee, Fife and Glasgow all home to opposition south of the border or across the Irish Sea.

Dundee Stars welcome league leaders Guildford Flames to Tayside, hoping to build on a solid road performance midweek which saw them take a point out of Belfast. The Stars are trying, however, to log their first win in three games. Guildford, meanwhile, are on a run of 10 straight league wins which have helped them to a five-point lead at the top of the table. The Flames' points percentage of 88% is the best in the league by some margin, while they also boast the league's best penalty kill on 91.67%. Guildford won comfortably when these sides met last weekend.

Fife Flyers picked up three points out of four from two home games last weekend, but face a Belfast Giants side that has only lost one of their last five games in the league. Adam Keefe's Giants have played substantially less games than most other teams in the Elite League, but have quietly picked up 10 points out of 14 - on points percentage, at 71%, they'd be fourth overall. Belfast's only dropped points of the season were both losses to Guildford. The Flyers find themselves with one win in their last four and a return of five points form nine games played in the league. They haven't beaten Belfast since 30 November 2019.

Glasgow Clan begin life under interim Head coach Stephen Dixon with a home fixture against Manchester Storm. Clan sacked Malcolm Cameron after a run of 16 straight losses to begin the season, with Wednesday's defeat in Nottingham being his final game in charge. Dixon will be hoping to lead them to their first win since beating Cardiff away in last season's playoffs. Manchester arrive in Glasgow off the back of a good league win over Dundee last weekend, before being defeated by Sheffield in the cup. Matt Ginn's team have a .500 record through nine league games so far.
