Clash of top two headlines Sunday

Week 8's action in the Premier Sports Elite League continues with five games spread across Sunday.
Things start at 4pm in Belfast where the Giants welcome Glasgow Clan to the SSE Arena for the first league meeting between the teams this season. The Giants were late winners in Fife on Saturday, while Clan recorded their first win of the season after 16 straight losses.

Also at 4pm, Cardiff Devils travel to Nottingham to face the Panthers. The sides have met this season in Wales, with the Devils taking a comfortable win. They clash after the Devils earned an OT win over Coventry on Saturday night, while Panthers were beaten heavily in Sheffield.

Moving into the evening, Dundee make their first trip of the season to Coventry. Both sides suffered losses on Saturday night with the Blaze going down in OT to Cardiff, while Dundee were shut out by Guildford.

Manchester Storm return from a shoutout defeat in Glasgow to face Fife Flyers in Altrincham. The teams are separated by four points in the Storm's favour through 10 games each this season, but both have only one win from their last three games.

Finally, the final game of the day is arguable the biggest. League leaders Guildford Flame play hosts to Sheffield Steelers at 6pm as first meets second in the table. The Flames have an eight-point advantage at the top of the table, but have played three games more than their nearest challengers. Each team has a road win against the other so far this season.
