Blaze make it a perfect weekend with shutout win

Coventry Blaze completed a four-point weekend with a shutout home win over Glasgow Clan at the Skydome.

A goal in each period was enough for Danny Stewart's men who came back from Dundee on Saturday night with a 5-1 win. On a slightly broken play, some quick Blaze passing moved the puck from Colton Yellow Horn to Jack Billings, who in turn fed Nathanael Halbert to beat John Must from the slot at 7:58.

Kim Tallberg scored the all-important next goal, putting the home side two up at 29:03. The Swede then found the empty net with 94 seconds left to complete the win.
