Guildford Flames capped off a four-point weekend at the top of the Viaplay Elite League with a comeback win over Glasgow Clan on Sunday night.
The visiting Clan raced into a two-goal lead thanks to goals from Mathieu Roy ad Gary Haden inside 15 minutes at the Spectrum, but when Ryan Tait got Guildford on the board at 17:40 the game began to change.
Rob Lachowicz tied the game 5:24 into period two, with Peter Crinella beating Ty Taylor low on the powerplay to put the Flames ahead at 29:11. The visitors survived a video review to confirm the puck not crossing the goal line shortly after, but Guildford were two ahead 4:19 into period three through Turner Ripplinger following up a rebound from his own shot off the back boards.
Roy pulled on back for Clan with just under eight minutes to go, but Tait ended the scoring on an empty net with 71 seconds to play.
