A big night at the Dundee Ice Arena sees the Stars face Fife Flyers for a meeting of two Scottish rivals in the Viaplay Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals.
The Flyers came second in Group A to earn the higher seeding in the next round and will play the second leg at home next week. When the teams met in the cup earlier this season, it was the road side that took the win each time. Dundee were 4-2 winners when they met in the league a couple of weeks ago.
Neither team has ever made it past the Quarter-Finals of the Challenge Cup. Dundee have gone out at this stage in every season since 2013/14, while Fife have fallen at the same hurdle five times. Glasgow Clan, the other Scottish team currently in the league, have been to the semis four times but never further.
In their own building, Dundee have not lost at home in regulation in four games with three of those being wins. Fife have won two straight road games since losing in Dundee last month.
