Coventry Blaze stayed second in the Viaplay Elite League with a 9-0 distraction of Manchester Storm at the Skydome on Sunday evening.
Colton Yellow Horn opened the scoring at 10:17 before Radek Veselý's shot deflected past Jeremy Brodeur at 12:42 to double the home side's lead. The home side weren't done for the period, though, and added their sixth of the night through Mitch Cook in close at 39:28.
Veselý added his second 6:33 into period three, with Brady Norrish's powerplay goal making it eight at 53:24. On a 2-on-1 rush, John Curran set up Colton Yellow Horn for the fast post finish to complete his hat trick with 3:11 left to play.
