Devils make it four-point weekend

Cardiff Devils bounced back from being knocked out of the Challenge Cup by completing a four-point weekend thanks to a commanding win over Glasgow Clan in the Viaplay Elite League.

Joey Martin put the hosts ahead just past the six-minute mark, before Josh Waller brought the puck down in the air, controlled with his stick, and slotted past Ty Taylor to double the home side's lead at 16:29.

The Devils' dominance continued in period two with Josh Brittain scoring the only goal, before Gabriel Chabot got Clan on the board with 38 seconds left in the frame. Justin Crandall and Brodie Reid scored just under three minutes in the third apart to round off a 5-1 win for the Devils.
