With the Christmas festivities over, it's a full schedule of games in the Viaplay Elite League this Boxing Day - and, as always, it's full of rivalries!
We start at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield for the Steelers taking on Nottingham Panthers from 4pm. The Steelers come into this fixture on a seven-game winning streak, while the Panthers have not lost in five themselves. Nottingham's last league win in Sheffield was in February 2020.

North of the border in Dundee, the Stars host local rivals Fife Flyers also starting at 4pm. The Flyers currently occupy the last playoff spot with a one-point lead over the Stars who have played a game less. Both sides are desperately in need of Christmas points, and to end five- (Dundee) and three- (Fife) game loss streaks respectively.

League leaders Guildford head to Manchester as they look to go 12 games unbeaten in all competitions. The Storm have lost their last four matches but have picked up a point in both of their previous two defeats. Guildford won 6-3 at the Storm Shelter on their previous visit this season, while last week's meeting in Surrey was decided in overtime.

Hoping to end a six-game losing run, Glasgow Clan welcome a Belfast Giants side to Braehead Arena that's won their last three games straight. Clan were narrowly beaten in Nottingham on Friday, while the Giants put eight past Fife without reply on Thursday night. Clan haven't beaten the Giants since January 2022.

The day's final game, begining at 5.30pm, sees Coventry Blaze host the team one place and three points above them in third: Cardiff Devils. Blaze have lost their last three games in a row, while the Devils are trying to make it four straight wins. The teams played four cup games at the start of the season which were evenly split, with Coventry winning the only league meeting so far in overtime in Wales.
