Glasgow Clan take on Nottingham Panthers this Friday night as Pride Week opens across the Viaplay Elite League.
Clan will be wearing their specially designed pride-themed jerseys, and have partnered with Time for Inclusive Education (TIE), Scotland’s LGBT Inclusive Education charity, for this season's event.
On the ice, a four-point weekend last time out saw Clan lift themselves off the foot of the table. They now sit just one point outside a playoff place, but have played a significantly higher number of games than the teams around them. Recent signings Niklas Tikkinen and Jeff Solow are expected to ice.
The Panthers head to Scotland after taking a shootout win in Belfast last weekend as part of the double-header trip. Midweek, they signed former Giants goalie Peyton Jones while releasing Jack Berry. Corey Neilson's team are sixth overall but some 14 points off joining the top five.
