Devils hoping to tie second in Glasgow

Glasgow Clan host Cardiff Devils in Tuesday night Viaplay Elite League action at Braehead Arena.

The hosts are one of the league's in-form sides with three wins out of their last four. They climbed into a playoff place briefly before being pushed out by Fife on Sunday. The Devils, on the other hand, have won four straight and are the league's best team over the last 15 games with 13 wins over that period. 

Those results have seen the Devils fight their way back into league title contention. The Welsh side can go level second with Sheffield if they win tonight, on an equal number of games played, although would stay third with one less regulation win. A victory for Clan here would put them into the playoffs again and leave them only a win behind seventh - they have, however, played significantly more games than the teams around them.
