Over 9,000 fans will be in attendance at the Utilita Arena, the vast majority of whom will be hoping to see the Steelers overturn that deficit and make their second cup final in three attempts.
Fife, for their part, are not only aiming to make the final for the first time in their club's long history - but would also be the first team from Scotland to ever make it to the trophy-deciding game.
The Steelers have a good record against the Flyers this season, with the first leg defeat being their only loss to Fife in five meetings. Todd Dutiaume's Flyers have yet to score a goal in Sheffield yet this season having been blanked by a combined score of 9-0 in two visits, with their last win there coming in October 2018.
Whoever wins tonight will face the Giants, in Belfast, on 1 March 2023. Should the scores by tied on aggregate after 60 minutes tonight, the teams will play five minutes of 3-on-3, sudden-death overtime, followed by a shootout if necessary, to find a winner.
