Wednesday: Storm host rivals Steelers

Manchester Storm take on their rivals from across the Pennines, Sheffield Steelers, in Wednesday night action in the Viaplay Elite League.
The side in seventh are looking for their first league win over the Steelers this season, while the visitors are out to move into equal second with Guildford.
Steelers captain Jonathan Phillips is scheduled to ice in his 1,000th game as a Steeler and will be the first player to hit this many games for one club in the EIHL era. He previously became the first to play 1,000 EIHL games back in the 2019/20 season.
Storm can move into sixth with a home win tonight. It was a shootout win over the Steelers in the latter stages of last season that set up Belfast to win the league in Sheffield some five days later, and although that can't happen this week Storm could put a serious dent in their rivals' title hopes by beating them.
