Phillips dresses in 1,000th EIHL game for Steelers

Sheffield Steelers' Jonathan Phillips set another record on Wednesday night when he iced in his 1,000th EIHL game for the team.

The Steelers' captain was the first player in league history to play in 1,000 EIHL games back in 2019/20. In December 2022, he celebrated 1,000 games for the Steelers in all competitions, before clocking up 1,000 EIHL competition matches for the Steelers on 22 February 2023.
