Sunday: Stars, Panthers, Blaze and Stars battling for playoffs

It's all about playoff places in two of Sunday's Viaplay Elite League fixtures.

Both Dundee Stars and Nottingham Panthers go into Sunday's clash looking for their first points of the week after defeats on Saturday night. For the Stars, anything less than a win here will seriously hurt their chances of making the playoffs - they're already eight points adrift with only nine games to play. The Panthers slipped back down to seventh midweek and are looking to end a run of three straight defeats.

Coventry Blaze return home for retro night hoping to make it a perfect week after road wins in Guildford and Cardiff already over the last five days. The side also picked up one win out of two in Belfast last weekend, giving them six points out of eight since their last home game - and that was completing a double over Sheffield. Fife edged a step closer to the playoffs with a home win over Nottingham on Saturday - they could go into the top eight with a point tonight.
