Saturday: League trophy in play for Giants - Flames must win

It's possible that the 2022/23 Viaplay Elite League trophy could be won on Saturday night, but there's only one sequence of results that does it.
Belfast Giants' Friday night win over Sheffield Steelers set them up to take the title if they can beat Manchester Storm tonight, and Guildford Flames lose in Dundee against the Stars.
The Giants are facing a Storm side that won both games in a double-header visit earlier this season. Manchester travel to the SSE Arena attempting to make it a sweep against the Giants in their own building this season, and take a step further to securing sixth in the table.

Guildford Flames know anything other than a win could end their hopes of the league title this season. The Flames face Dundee tonight in Scotland before a reverse fixture against the Stars back down south on Sunday. Four points is an absolute must for Paul Dixon's team to keep up the pressure on the Giants.
