Cardiff Devils announced on Wednesday night that they have parted ways with Head Coach Brodie Dupont and Assistant Christian Horn.
“Brodie and Christian are two of the best people I have met in hockey," said Managing DirectorTodd Kelman. "We all wish them well for next season. I am certain they will both get more opportunities to be behind the bench with another organisation in the near future.”
Dupont took over the coaching duties in the final weeks of the 2021/22 season. After guiding the team to the 2022 Playoff title, he was given the Head Coach role full-time for 2022/23. Horn joined him as an Assistant midway through the season. Despite reaching this year's playoff final, the Devils finished the regular season fourth - their lowest placing since 2014 - and were eliminated from the Challenge Cup in the Quarter-Finals.
