Baum back for third season in Belfast

Belfast Giants confirmed Saturday lunchtime that defenseman Jeff Baum will be back in teal for the 2023/24 season.

The 25-year-old arrived in Belfast after the pandemic and was part of last season's treble-winning team, as well as the side that picked up the League and Cup double in 2021/22.

"We’re delighted to welcome Jeff back to Belfast for a third season in teal. He’s a core part of the defensive unit that has brought us success this last two years – a reliable, hardworking and strong player who gives his everything during every shift he takes on the ice," said Head Coach Adam Keefe.

“It’s been a pleasure to coach Jeff this past two seasons; his growth on and off the ice has been immense. This re-signing marks another all-important signature secured as we head into a treble defending season.”
