Cardiff Devils' roster for the 2023/24 season has been bolstered by the signing of winger Ryan Barrow.
The 26-year-old played 38 games for Manchester Storm last season, totalling 14 goals and 27 assists before injury ruled him out of the rest of the season. Prior to making his professional debut with the Storm, Barrow spent five seasons at Denver University.
"We are delighted to sign Ryan. He is a powerful forward with a good skill set. He’s not scared to play in the hard areas, and he gets a lot of his goals through his willingness to get stuck in. He has good size, great hands and plays a 200ft game," began Head Coach Pete Russell.
"He comes from one of the best programmes in the US and he does the small things well, the little details that people might not notice but coaches do, so he can play in all situations.
"Last season, he had a great start, but his season finished prematurely due to injury. Before that he was on-pace to be one of the top players in the league."
