Centreman Cooper joins Giants

Belfast Giants' latest addition to their 2023/24 roster is Canadian centre Oliver Cooper.

The 28-year-old has spent the past two and a half seasons in the ECHL, ending last season with 22 goals and 25 assists in 58 games. He also played eight games in the AHL where he hit two goals. 

"Oliver Cooper is a big power forward who plays the game the right way. He goes to the net and has a very good finish in tight," said Head Coach Adam Keefe.

'He’s been a very good leader for his teams and his teammates love him. We are very excited to add a bit more grit to our lineup here in Belfast with Oliver."
