Defenseman Jake Bolton will be back with Glasgow Clan in 2023/24.
The 31-year-old American played eight games for the Purple Army last season before leaving to pursue an opportunity outside of hockey in November. He previously spent a season with Guildford and has totalled just over a point per game in 61 EIHL regular season appearances.
"I’m absolutely delighted to re-sign for the Clan and I was in a position where I could step back into the game," he said.
"I had some great talks with Jason and saw how the team was coming together, it was a decision, for me, where I hope I can bring some toughness, leadership and some offence.
"Hopefully we can go after some hardware this season and I can’t wait to get back to Scotland."
His new Head Coach, Jason Morgan, added: "Jake a player who will bring size and a physical presence to our blue line. He moves well and can be a scoring threat at any time with his big shots, which are his biggest asset. 'Bolts' will play a key role in our team’s success and I’m delighted he’s agreed to come back to the Clan and re-join the family."
