Friday: Clan new era set for home debut

Glasgow Clan's new era has its home debut in front of their own fans at Braehead Arena tonight as they welcome Belfast Giants in a pre-season fixture.

Clan Head Coach Jason Morgan has seen his side played two games in Cardiff so far, but will now stand behind the bench in front of the Purple Army for the first time. Glasgow lost both games against the Devils last weekend.

Belfast also began their pre-season campaign with a pair of losses to Cardiff, i na shootout and overtime respectively. They then went on to play the first four opening round games in the Champions Hockey League, coming away empty-handed from trips to Rauma, Tampere and Innsbruck, but beating Bolzano 4-0 at the SSE Arena for their first shutout in the CHL.
