2023/24 Opening Rosters

2023/24 season rosters confirmed for start of season

All ten Elite Ice Hockey League teams have confirmed their opening rosters for the 2023/24 season.

The roster regulations for this season were confirmed in May 2023. Teams are restricted to a maximum of 20 non-homegrown players (not including Injured Reserve replacements) in a single season; and an overall roster of 29 players in a single season (including two-way players but excluding Injured Reserve replacements).

Teams have submitted the following:

  • Belfast: 16 non-homegrown players, therefore 4 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 22 players.
  • Cardiff: 15 non-homegrown players, therefore 5 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 21 players.
  • Coventry: 16 non-homegrown players, therefore 4 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 21 players.
  • Dundee: 15 non-homegrown players, therefore 5 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 20 players.
  • Fife: 17 non-homegrown players, therefore 3 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 21 players.
  • Glasgow: 15 non-homegrown players, therefore 5 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 21 players.
  • Guildford: 18 non-homegrown players, therefore 2 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 24 players.
  • Manchester: 16 non-homegrown players, therefore 4 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 20 players.
  • Nottingham: 16 non-homegrown players, therefore 4 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 21 players.
  • Sheffield: 17 non-homegrown players, therefore 3 non-homegrown roster places remaining. Overall roster of 22 players.
