It's a four-game Sunday spread as Week 2 of the 2023/24 Elite Ice Hockey League season comes to an end, and for the first time this season we're only giving out league points across the board.
The day's early start sees Cardiff Devils travel to Sheffield Steelers, both coming off big league wins on Saturday. The Devils, who sit third, were 5-2 victors over Glasgow, the the Steelers, who are joint top, hammered rivals Nottingham 6-0. The teams met in pre-season where the Steelers came out on top in both games by a single goal. Cardiff own two of three games in Sheffield last season.

Manchester Storm head into Dundee hoping to end the weekend joint, if not outright, top of the early-season standings. The 4-2 win over the Stars yesterday was their second straight league victory as they head north of the border where the Stars are looking for their first points of the season at the fourth attempt.

Coventry Blaze host Fife Flyers at 5.30pm in what is the first league encounter for the visitors this season. The Blaze picked up an overtime loss in Sheffield in their only league fixture so far before a win and a loss in the cup. Fife have only played cup group opposition so far and have a win and two losses to show for it. September 2019 was the last time the Flyers left the Skyome with a win.

Finally, the day's last game begins at 6pm in Guildford where the Flames are playing their second home fixture in as many nights. After a victory over Coventry on Saturday in the cup, attention now turns back to the league with the visit of Nottingham. The Panthers will be looking for a performance after a 6-0 defeat on home ice to Sheffield, and having lost their league opener to Manchester on their own ice as well.
