Forbes ready for 'weird' feeling of playing Blaze

Alex Forbes will come up against his former side when Glasgow Clan host Coventry Blaze on Saturday, the first time he'll play his old club this season since moving to Glasgow over the summer.

Forbes played over 200 games for the Blaze over five seasons after joining them in 2018.

"It will be a good game against my old team, but it will be weird playing against them,” he began. "I had five years at the Blaze, and had some amazing times there, so to come up against guys who were my team-mates will certainly be interesting.

"I really enjoyed working with Danny Stewart and Dayle Keen, and I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity I had with them."
