It's Saturday night which means game night in the Elite Ice hockey League. Week 11 of the 2023/24 season brings four fixtures this evening.

Cardiff Devils are back on home ice after their midweek win in Dundee to face Nottingham, the Panthers' first trip to the Vindico Arena this season. The Devils have won fight straight in the league and are chasing down leaders Sheffield. The Panthers played their first competitive game back last weekend, and will have forward Austin Farley available for this weekend.

In Dundee, the Stars welcome Sheffield Steelers to Tayside for the first time this season. The sides met in Yorkshire in October where the hosts took a 3-0 win, their fourth win in what turned out to be a 10-game unbeaten run. After Dundee's five-game winning streak cam to an end last weekend, the Stars have now lost two on the spin following a midweek defeat to Cardiff. Dundee haven't won a home fixture against Sheffield since the playoff Quarter-Finals in 2022.

Third-placed Glasgow Clan head into Manchester to face the fifth-placed Storm six days after the sides met in Braehead. That game on Sunday saw Clan take an overtime win, which they followed up with a Friday night victory over Belfast to move themselves into the top three. Storm could find themselves back in third tonight as they trail Clan by just a point, but fell off the pace a little after only picking up one point from their three-game road trip to Scotland last weekend.

The day's final game gets under way at 7.15pm in Kirkcaldy, where Fife Flyers host basement side Coventry Blaze. An excellent win over Manchester last weekend momentarily had the Flyers up in fifth before defeat in Cardiff saw them slip down to joint-sixth, but it's a tight mid-table with only one win separating third from seventh. Coventry, meanwhile, are three points adrift at the foot of the table, but have played some three games fewer than most other teams. The last time these sides met, the Flyers grabbed a late winner to take the spoils.
