Wednesday: Blaze and Giants begin Quarter-Final

Four days after facing each other in a league encounter, Coventry Blaze and Belfast Giants are back at the Skydome as they begin their Challenge Cup Quarter-Final tie.

Saturday's game went the way of the Blaze, who have now won five straight in the league and are the form team heading into this game, while the Giants are .500 over their last six fixtures.

Coventry has been a happy hunting ground for the Giants over recent seasons who have seven wins on their last ten visits to the Skydome. The Blaze, however, boast two of the league's top five point scoters - Danny Kristo is the overall leader with 21 points in 15 league fixtures, while Ian McNulty is just behind on 19. 

Belfast reactivated Jackson Whistle from Injured Reserve on Tuesday.
