League leaders Sheffield Steelers, and second-placed Cardiff Devils, both head into Scotland tonight as Week 13 of the 2023/24 Elite League season comes to a close.
The Steelers survived another scare against Fife Flyers on Saturday night to stay two points clear at the top, and now head into Dundee where they have already won once since season. Indeed, the Stars are without a league victory at home to the Steelers since March 2022. Dundee were beaten 5-4 in Cardiff on Saturday night where they almost came back from 5-1 down but fell one goal short. Robert Dowd needs two points to become only the fourth player in EIHL history to reach 700 career points.

Cardiff Devils head up to Fife for the first time this season in a week where they've already faced Scottish opposition. The Devils were knocked out of the Challenge Cup by Glasgow Clan on Wednesday, before beating Dundee on Saturday night - though the margin of victory went from four goals to just one in the final five minutes. Fife's battling defeat in Sheffield extended their loss streak to eight games, and they now face a team that they also haven't beaten at home since March 2022.
