Thursday: Giants welcome Clan to Belfast

Belfast Giants are back on home ice to face Glasgow Clan on Thursday night.

The teams met on Boxing Day where the Giants skated away with a 5-2 win, their fifth league win in a row.
That defeat for Clan extended their winless streak in league games to six straight, dating back to 10 December.
After a difficult November, the Giants have propelled themselves up into xthird place in the table. They are stil lsome eight points off first place, and have played two games more, but it's a better outlook for the team after struggled some weeks ago. Glasgow, who had got themselves into third, have slipped down to eighth following their winless streak.
Gary Haden and Robert Lachowicz have nine goals each for Clan, and lead the team. With 12 to his name, Quinn Preston leads scoring for the Giants. Tyler Beskorowany is with Team Canada at the Spengler Cup, so Jackson Whistle will start in net again for Belfast.
