Devils end loss streak, extend Storm's

Cardiff Devils ended a three-game loss streak. and extended Manchester Storm's to four games, with a 4-1 win in front of 1.980 fan in Altrincham.
Cardiff were ahead inside four minutes at the Storm Shelter with Joey Martin opening the scoring at 3:33 as he followed up Justin Crandall's shot. Stephen Johnson levelled for the Storm at 7:51 while Evan Mosey sat for Slashing, but the visitors were back ahead 45 seconds before the end of the period through Ryan Barrow in close.
63 seconds into period two, Jamie Arniel cut in from the wing and beat Evan Weninger from a slight angle to put the Devils 3-1 ahead. Joey Martin put the Devils' fourth on the board at 24:07 with a deflection on a Trevor Cox point shot to give the visitors a three-goal advantage.
The Devils saw out the final period , surviving a Josh Waller Slashing minor, and with two powerplay chances of their own, to end their three-game skid and take the two points back home to Wales.
