Spencer Naas and Ryan Valentini scored a pair of goals each as Dundee Stars came from behind twice before beating Glasgow Clan in overtime. 2,331 fans saw it happen in the Dundee Ice Arena.

Clan were ahead inside five minutes with the go-ahead goal coming 4:02 into things - Darien Craighead put a puck on net which seemed to hit Reid Petryk, allowing Matt Barry to shoot the loose puck past Kevin Carr into the net. The home side were slow out of the blocks in the opening period, leading to Marc LeFebvre calling his timeout with 10:52 played, but they were unable to tie things up before the break.

39 seconds into period two, Bryce Reddick's dump into the zone took a funny bounce off the back boards and through Carr's crease, allowing Darien Craighead to convert from close range and double Clan's lead.

Dundee finally got on the board just past the midway point of the game, taking advantage of a Reece Kelly Holding penalty. With 30:30 played, Ryan Valentini circled the Clan net and fed Spencer Naas at the far post the halve the deficit.

Naas tied the game 5:41 into period three with a well-taken deflection off an excellent Craig More pass to the slot. Under three minutes later, however, Clan were back ahead as Cody Sol jumped into the play and gave Carr no chance with his wrist shot. The visitors could only hold this lead for 55 seconds, though, as Ryan Valentini was left all alone to the side of Antti Karjalainen's net to tie things up at 49:22.

In overtime, Valentini carried the puck from his own zone into the Clan end and beat Karjalainen from the top of the circle to earn Dundee the extra point at 62:41.
