Coventry Blaze came from three goals down to beat Manchester Storm 4-3 at the Storm Shelter on Saturday night.
A Samuel Tremblay one-timer off a Tyler Hinam pass opened the scoring with 14:54 played, and less than three minutes later Cam Critchlow took the puck from behind the net and wrapped-around on Nolan Kent to double the home side's lead.
Tremblay beat Kent off a Johnny Corneil drop pass 8:27 into period two to put the hosts 3-0 ahead. However, it was to be all square before the end of the middle period.
Aidan Spellacy skated from his own blue line before backhanded a bobbling puck past Evan Weninger to pull one back for the Blaze at 33:47, before Tyler Kirkup stole the puck and beat Weninger high at 37:59 to make it a one-goal game. Kim Tallberg completed the comeback with 77 seconds left in the second period.
The game was one off a Blake Thompson shot form the point with 4:35 left in the final period, that may have been tipped in by Spellacy at the top of the crease.
Coventry moved two points clear in fifth with the win.
