Belfast Giants put seven goals past Nottingham Panthers in front of 5,698 fans at the Motorpoint Arena.
It took just over four minutes for the deadlock to be broken on Pride Night in Nottingham with Jordan Kelsall putting the Panthers ahead at 4:08. Ara Nazarian levelled at 13:36 when a Jeff Baum shot trickled out from under Rok Stojanovič's pads and he was on hand to poke the puck over the line,
Oliver Cooper put the Giants ahead 2:32 into period two, only for Otto Nieminen to bring the scores back level just under three minutes later. Josh Roach put the Giants back into the lead some three minutes after, before two powerplay goals gave the Giants control of things - Greg Printz getting a deflection on a Bobby MacIntyre shot at 30:45, followed by Cooper's second of the night 2:28 before the intermission.
Will Cullen and Jacob Friend added third period goals to bring the Giants up to a 7-2 win.
