Hinam double gets Storm four-point weekend

Tyler Hinam showed why Manchester Storm gave him a two-year contract extension earlier in the week with a double to help Manchester Storm past Nottingham Panthers
Storm thought they'd gone ahead with 51 seconds played through Cam Critchlow, but the goal was immediately washed out for a kicking motion. The officials went to review, but with the video technology unavailable they were forced to keep their on-ice call and the game stayed scoreless.
Manchester did take the lead some ten minutes later, however. CJ Garcia's big shot from the point was tipped in front of Rok Stojanovič by Tyler Hinam to open the scoring at 11:26.
67 seconds into period two, Stojanovič reacted quickly to grab a rolling puck off the goal line and prevent the Storm doubling their lead - a no goal call confirmed after a look at the video. Storm's insurance goal came 9:24 into period three a Hinam danced his way through the Panthers zone and beat Stojanovič through a bit of a screen to make it 2-0.
Jonathan Paredes called a timeout with 3:17 to go, and after Westin Michaud's tip went just over Dallas Ehrhadt fired into the empty net from his own zone with 2:46 left to play.
The win completed a much-needed four-point weekend for Matt Ginn's side.
