The Devils, just back from a double-header in Scotland, are in Nottingham to face the last-placed Panthers. A decent run of recent form has seen the Panthers claw their way back to just four points outside a playoff place, with two games in hand on Glasgow Clan in eighth. The Panthers have won their last three home games in a row, while the Devils arrive with 12 straight victories under their belts. The Motorpoint Arena has not traditionally been a good venue for the Devils, who have lost their last four games in Nottingham dating back to April 2022.

Glasgow Clan host Guildford Flames looking nervously over their shoulders at Fife and Nottingham getting ever closer to them in the race for a playoff place. Clan are ahead of the Flyers by virtue of having played less games, and are now only four points above the Panthers. Friday's win over Coventry ended a lengthy losing run for Jason Morgan's team, who have the league's joint-worst home record despite playing to a record run of crowds. Guildford had looked like they might break into the top three, but a run of four consecutive defeats has seen their advantage of fifth-placed Coventry cut down to just a point.
