EIHL ranks 7th for highest European Attendances

The Elite Ice Hockey has again ranked seventh in Europe for attendances over the 2023/24 season!
Although the regular season still has a few more weeks left to run, the EIHL's average attendance stands at 3,479 fans per game - some 9.33% higher than last season - putting the Elite League above the ICE HL, Slovak Extraliga, and French Ligue Magnus by over 800 fans per game.
The DEL topped Europe's attendance charts for the first time, surpassing Switzerland, according to this year's data provided by the Alliance of European Hockey Ciubs. The KHL, SHL, Czech Extraliga and Finnish Liiga complete the top six.
Sheffield Steelers, who have seen their average increase to over 7,600 in league play, climbed climbed up to the 18th-highest average attendance in Europe, while Belfast Giants moved up nine places to 28th - the two EIHL teams inside the European Top 50.
