A point for the Devils will see them locked into second this season, while the Giants must win in regulation to keep the race open for finishing as runners up behind Sheffield Steelers.
The Devils have picked up 16 points out of the last 20 on offer and have not lost in regulation home since 3 January this year. Belfast, meanwhile, have collected 15 points in their last ten games, but have lost for of their last five road games as they head to Wales.
Belfast won the only meeting between the teams in Cardiff this season, a 4-2 win in October, while the Devils then won two of three visitors to Belfast.
