Monday: GB must win to avoid relegation

Great Britain go into their penultimate game at the 2024 IIHF World ice Hockey Championships knowing that anything other than a win will see them relegation to Division 1 A in 2025.
The maths of Group A makes Monday's fixture against Norway relatively simple:
- A regulation win guarantees GB stay in the top flight of world ice hockey for another season
- An OT/SO win would leave GB needing to pick up a win over Austria in their final game to stay up
- Any form of loss would see GB relegated
Norway have one win from their six games played so far, a 2-0 victory over Denmark. GB have lost their five matches to date, but need just that one victory today to ensure survival.
