The new Elite Ice Hockey League season will get under way on 7 September!
On Monday morning, teams confirmed their home openers ahead of the full release of the 2024/25 schedule at 6am on Thursday 11 July.
Both Dundee Starts and Fife Flyers will open the new season with home double-header weekends against Belfast Giants and Glasgow Clan in the Challenge Cup. The Stars face the Giants on opening night, while the Clan are in Fife, with the road teams swapping over the following night. Both Belfast and Glasgow have limited home ice in the opening weeks of the season.
Down south, Manchester Storm and Guildford Flames meet on opening night in Altrincham, then heading to Surrey for the Flames' first home game of the season the following evening.
Cardiff Devils, Coventry Blaze and Nottingham Panthers join the party a week later. The Devils open their season in the league at home to Glasgow on Saturday 14 September, while the Blaze's first home game is also against the Clan on Sunday 15 September as Corey Neilson's side head south for a pair of road games. Nottingham's opening night sees them face Guildford on 14 September.
Having completed two weeks of Champions Hockey League fixtures, Sheffield Steelers return to domestic action on Saturday 21 September with Guildford the visitors to the Utilita Arena.
